British No 4. MKII* spike bayonet made between 1942 and 1944. The spike was made by Prince-Smith & Stells of Keighly, Yorkshire.
The left side of the socket block is stamped with the pattern designation and the maker’s mark, P. S. K. A War Department arrow is stamped to the left of the pattern designation.
The front of the block is stamped with a broad arrow and the P.S.K dispersal code, N56.
The bayonet is complete with its Mk I scabbard.
