Miniature signal cannon dating from the early 20th Century. Could have been a dinner/noon gun - or a very dangerous toy!
The oak base is 13 cm long, 9 cm wide and 7 cm high at the apex of the curve.
The base is made of oak and has a few dings but no cracks and is strong and in great condition. The oak base has a felt or baize bottom. The oak wedge fits into a groove, allowing it to slide forwards and backwards to raise and lower the barrel.
The barrel is 11 cm long with a bore of 8mm and is made of brass. The barrel is tarnished but it adds character and looks good.
